Gillian Machethe
Director
Tautlou is a black owned company owned by Ms Gillian and Mr Timothy Machethe, with each bringing own extensive experience, training and field of interest. Ms Gillian Machethe holds 60% shareholding in the company.
Ms Gillian serves as the Director with excellent managerial and entrepreneurial skills. She holds both National Diploma and BTech degree in civil Engineering. Gillian has also completed a programme in project management and supervisory skills at University of Pretoria (UP). She has been accountable for delivering building and refurbishment projects of buildings in the portfolio and providing internal technical structural/building advice on projects.
She has 8 years’ experience in the field of civil engineering and building maintenance which gives us an advantage in building maintenance. Further, she also acted as a civil/building technician in civil engineering field and also building technician in building maintenance. She has extensive experience in liaising with stakeholders. She brings skills such as to minimise costs and risks to the business whilst continually striving for value optimisation.
She has also been involved and also capable of Planning, Implementing and evaluating projects, alignment and integration, Governance Risk Management, Financial Management, Stakeholder Management and SHE.

Mr Timothy Machethe serves as the Director of the company. He is ECSA registered as Candidate Civil Technologist with exceptional technical and interpersonal skills. He holds both N. Diploma and B-TECH Degree in civil engineering (Transportation) and a Management Development Certificate from University of Free State. He is a team player with classic leadership skills, approachable, has a high energy level and a strong passion for entrepreneurship. He is meticulous, self-driven and has an eye for detail.
Timothy has 8 years of experience in the road construction, maintenance and traffic signs. Further, he brings good skills in business such as project, and stakeholders relationship management as he has managed to successfully lead the supply and delivery projects to municipalities such as Fezile Dabi District Municipality, Mafube and Dihlabeng Local Municipalities. He has worked on both National and Provincial projects including SANRAL and N3TC as a clients.
He has worked throughout the Northern and Eastern parts of South Africa which includes Gauteng, Free State, North West, Limpopo, Mpumalanga and Kwa-Zulu Natal Provinces.
